Prayers for David and Holly Petraeus. At sixty years old and after thirty-seven years of marriage his affair is a sad, sad event. May they heal and grow and have another 37.
All of us are at risk. We each need to have a few friends that we give total access to our deepest thoughts and desires. They see our good and affirm it and call us on our bs. In this way our lives remain in the light and the risk of an affair or other corruption is less likely. There is a part of each of us that wants our way, right now, regardless of what we know God may desire.
