378/444 Healing from Infidelity: Healing from Losses

This is the second of our challenging exercises from the grief section. Challenging also means the potential for great rewards. These are hard but extremely meaningful conversations.

Write out your responses to the following questions and then share your responses with your spouse.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.  Proverbs 13:12

What were/are your hopes and dreams (longings) for your marriage? Give this some significant thought.

Now list the losses (hope deferred) in your marriageā€¦

Describe the change in your relationship with God as you have begun to experience and grieve these losses.
