Surfing for God by Michael Cusick should become the go to book to help men (and women) understand and heal their sexuality and their soul. In some ways it can apply to the journey of every single person on the planet. Don't we all have wounds where we need to heal and grieve what's been done to us. Also, we each have a wicked side where we want it NOW. We are for ourselves. We need to repent of the subtle and not so subtle way we look out for number 1. Even so, it is important to find the good longing underneath the acting out in selfishness.  And, we also have places of feeling less than or weak. Often times in this place there are lies we believe. Owning our true belovedness is the antidote. This takes us to a more restful place of depending on God.
