Hearing

“Listen! My Lover is knocking:…” Song of Songs 5:2 (NIV)

Hearing means music and the like yes, but also kind words, true words, words of affirmation.

So, stop and pay attention to one another as you share kind words with one another.

                  Stop and Listen to one another.

Say something kind or affirming to one another. One option is to insert your spouse’s name in the following verses from Psalm 139 and speak this to him/her.  

For you created __________________’s inmost being;
       you knit _________________ together in his/her mother's womb.

I praise you because ________________ is fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

_________________’s frame was not hidden from you
when ________________ was made in the secret place.

When _____________________ was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw ____________________’s unformed body.

All the days ordained for _______________________ were written in your book before one of them came to be.
