Mom and Dad and Mom-in-law are in town. My son's graduation takes place tomorrow night at Red Rocks. It has to be one of the most awesome, gorgeous places around for such an event. I told my daughter that she's played Red Rocks more than Sheryl Crow (who looked up during a concert there and said, "Wow, made by God.) ...My daughter played bari-sax in the band all four years at graduation during high school.
Thanks to the Red Rocks site for these pictures. Our youngest is graduating tomorrow so with both kids out of high school I guess that makes me and Ann 'Official Old Farts.' Although, we are very young old farts at 43 and 41.
We also have a little golf planned this weekend on some great courses. We have Red Hawk Ridge in Castle Rock tomorrow, Redlands Mesa in Grand Junction on Saturday (kind of a RED weekend huh? I am not now nor have I ever been a member of the communist party :) ), Lakota Canyon by Glenwood Springs on Sunday, then Breckenridge Golf Club (a Nicklaus design) on Monday at 9324 feet above sea level. Yeehah!
I might be a tired young old fart when I get back to work on Tuesday. But once again it will be a good tired. Blessings to you on this Memorial Day weekend as we are reminded again that freedom isn't free.
