Hey there. Couples are talking through difficult issues and healing is taking place here in Palmer Lake. There are bumps but the fact couples are here and courageously interacting speaks volumes about their hearts.
Last night Ann and I told our story. This morning our friends George and Connie Blake shared their testimony of divorce, remarriage and learning what it really means to love each other in an other-centered manner instead of attempting to arrange life for ones greatest convenience.
We've also covered Conflict and Communication, Gender, Betrayal and Anger, and Rebuilding Trust.
Right now we are on a rest or play break. We have an elegant dinner planned for this evening. Our friends Keith and Karen Cowling will share about the struggles and redemption in their marriage. We'll follow that up with sessions on four different types of intimacy.
Tomorrow we have sessions scheduled on Guilt and Shame, a testimony from Don Lay and his bride Myko about the impact his battle with cancer is having on their relationship, Grief, and we'll conclude with Grace and Forgiveness.
Please lift up the couples attending for the rest of the weekend. Ann and I can always use prayer too. See you later from the shadow of Pike's Peak.
