Sundays I'll post on sabbath and helping us reconnect to our hearts. It takes an intentional focus to create sabbath space in our lives. Too often our sabbath days are spent scurrying like a pinball from activity to activity with urgings to try harder to get it right. Learning to rest, both in solitude and in the company of others, is a spring of life for the soul.
The Chinese pictograph for busy illustrates the damaging impact our cultural addiction to busyness has on our cores. Their symbol for busy contains two characters...heart and killing.
